Kilimanjaro

I was welcomed with a delicious welcome smoothie, which was such a lovely touch. Veronica and all the staff were always happy to help, incredibly friendly, and greeted you with a smile. The rooms were cleaned every day and fresh towels were provided. Breakfast was also nice, and the hotel was generally very clean. The location is great too — it’s less than a 5-minute walk from Maisha Beach/bar. One of my favourite things to do was walk to the beach around sunset. You can see all the local children playing football, exercising and playing in the water. It was so beautiful to sit and watch and really gave me a lovely feel for the local community. ❤️ I ate at the hotel restaurant a few times and was really impressed. The food was freshly cooked and delicious! I especially loved the spicy masala squid curry — absolutely delicious! 😍 Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend this hotel. ❤️

Everything was great overall, but if anything could be improved, I’d suggest a little more variety at breakfast, as there could have been a few more choices. It would also be nice to have some small toiletries provided in the rooms. The restaurant food was incredible and clearly freshly cooked, although it could sometimes take a little while to arrive. That said, it was definitely worth the wait! 😊

Not enough furnitures to put the clothes, the bed was making a lot of noise, no carpet in the bathroom, breakfast very poor.

Kilimanjaro was literally a breath of fresh air. Top tier services from the whole team including the very friendly owners and the manager, Veronika who was so helpful and kind. On my check in day, I arrived way before the check-in time. New country, tired, sleepy and hungry from the trip. The owner was kind enough to offer me a complimentary breakfast (which by the way was very yummy) as I waited for my room to be readied, which the manager ensured was done as soon as possible! Highly recommend this place, if you are looking for a place that genuinely feels like home, close to the beach, shopping center and almost all popular activities.
