Large apartment on Praia do Ana. Situated at the start of the lighthouse walk and close to town and a supermarket.

Would have liked a washing machine

Not much of a reviewer. Very Friendly and helpful staff, great location to the beach. Comfy room and access. A bit too much construction taking place in the area but in a sense that kind of made for some additional interest. Should be completed in a year or so but otherwise made for additional interest. Just enough parking onsite.

We liked that we were right next to the headland walk and a very protected beach on the windy days. Little out of town but a short, pleasant walk into the city centre. It was nice to have some room to spread out a little. The reception staff were nice and helpful.

Important to note that this building is attached to a run down, half finished, old building/ construction site that has been abandoned. So there are kids running a muck in there and it feels a little unsafe. When we were there the fire department was called because they started a fire in there. The room is old and showing signs that it needs some work. There is no working thermostat or air, so you just leave the windows open. I would hate to think what it would be like in high summer. When we would leave the room we would close the balcony doors and when we came back a few hours later it was so stuffy and a little smelly. The dishwasher didnt work/ turn on and we had to call maintenance. There is no service lift for staff so often we would wait a minute or so for the elevator and it was full with the room service items and we would not fit in the elevator. On the worst day, this happened 3 times in a row and we didnt get into the elevator until the 4th time. Once or twice is fine but it was getting old and happening too often. Im not sure why, but our entire stay there were bugs flying all around the reception? I am from Australia so I can deal with insects, but there was a swarm of them consistently flying around the reception and elevators that you had to walk through to use. I couldn't work out why they were there.
