First, the Good:
The rooms are small, but functional; garden area with chairs was nice for breakfast. The room was clean and smelled nice, and the grounds were gorgeous. Lots of palms, nice walk ways, and generous outdoor space. Pool area was large and the proximity to the bar was great; the game room and outdoor ping pong were a nice touch. Access to the parking was good, but spaces are limited. Easy to walk to the busier part of Salou and the beach, and convenient drive to PortAventura & Cambrils. Pet fee was reasonable and we found an easy spot for her to potty along the back drive of the property. Very secure property with a door person who monitors entry—because there are no cars, it felt safe to walk entire property.
Now, the Improveable:
The check in process was not great. Even after doing the online check-in, you still have to arrive in person. So many families checking in, and only 3 people. I got a pet friendly room, but was reprimanded for not double checking the availability. It would be nice to include this as part of booking. Restaurants are not open late and staff are not very helpful. Could extend hours and add more staff. They say there’s a Nespresso in the room, but bring your own pods, they do not restock and coffee is hard to find in the area. Food is C+ and they all close by 10ish. Few decent options nearby. Bath products and extras are poor.
Would stay again but would not rely on hotel as if it were a true four stars. Go for the pool and pina coladas.

Cant beat this hotel for kids considering the price. 5 nights of fun. The kids club staff were great too. Looking forward to returning (food was average buffet experience)
