Upstairs has three bedrooms all with walk-in closets and a full bath. Laundry room opens to private outdoor area with outside dining and hot tub. ABSOLUTELY NO PETS. VIOLATORS SUBJECT TO FINES.

The space;
The property is located in a quiet neighborhood and is fully gated. The house has been remodeled and has lots of natural light due to large windows throughout. All the bedrooms have walk-in closets and dressers. The master and front room have queen beds. The third bedroom has 2 twins. There are 2 full bathrooms, 1 on the main floor and 1 upstairs. There is a large fully equip kitchen and laundry room. The living room has a couch, 2 rocking chairs, and 2 leather recliners, as well as a large gas fireplace. The dining room table has room for 6 and there is room for 3 at the raised bar in the kitchen. The outdoor space has a front deck with yard space for lounging and playing corn hole. The back deck is a private area where you can grill, dine, and enjoy a dip in the hot tub. Guests will have full access to the hot tub, unless the owners are in town for a visit, then they will have shared access and be able to use it when not in use. We have a orange flag set up so you’ll know when you have private access to the hot tub. Owners are not often in town, so if this is an issue, please ask us and we will be able to let you know if they are in town the dates you are looking at.

Other details to note;

Keep in mind this is an old craftsman’s style home and has lots of charm, but also is not as energy efficient as newer homes. Ductless AC/heat is included, but in extreme hot and cold temperatures it might take longer for our home to cool down in the summer and heat up in the winter. These are rare occasions, but they do happen, so just want our guests to be aware. In the summer/winter months we have 2 ductless AC/heating units to cool and heat the house, 1 upstairs in the master and the other downstairs in the main living space. The other two bedrooms have AC window units in the summer and space heaters in the winter.
The home is within walking distance to many great restaurants and pubs on Newport Ave. and Galveston Ave. It is also a 10 minute walk to Drake Park in downtown Bend and a 30 minute drive to Mt. Bachelor.
As property managers we will be available through messages on the app and you will have our direct cell numbers should you need anything during your stay.
You will have access to the entire home and have shared access to the hot tub when the owner is in town. We will be sure to let you know if they are in town during your stay.

Overall the house was great. It was very clean, access was easy, communication was great, and the listing is accurate. Walking distance to just about everything west side and could walk to Old Mill if you wanted and the weather is good. Still giving it 5 stars, though it’s a very creaky house and there is next to no sound proofing, everything is heard throughout the home. This is understandable because it’s almost 100 years old, but still wish it was better. Beds were ok, not the most comfortable (this is subjective of course).

This was a perfect spot for a few friends to hang out and rest up while checking out Mt. Bachelor, Smith Rock and other nearby attractions. Location was great, with a nice market, coffee, breakfast and bars nearby. Hot tub was great for soaking sore muscles at the end of the day. Hosts were top notch as well. Very responsive and helpful on all fronts. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Close to Daughters family and we love the craftsman logger home style! Hard at 75 yrs old to not have any chairs on the second floor.

Overall we liked the location, it was very convenient to Newport Avenue Market and there was plenty of room. We were there over Thanksgiving and we felt the kitchen supplies like silverware were lacking. It was also a bit awkward with the upstairs bathroom having 2 doors. If you are renting with little kids you should be aware that there are no railings along the back deck, and only one railing on the stairs down to walk across to the hot tub.
