La Chouette

We have just returned from a wonderful stay. We were a party of 10. Grandparents, parents and four children from 15yrs down to 18mths the full range. House, gardens and pool were amazing - especially the pool! Plenty of room in both for everyone. It is a rural farmhouse, so peaceful yet just a short drive or bike ride into Monpazier. The house has is very well equipped with great kitchen. The outside space is really nice and we enjoyed many a BBQ on the covered terrace. The pool is great for a swim or just splashing around in the water with the younger ones. Its surrounding area is relaxing and well maintained with pretty lights - very atmospheric in the evenings. Phone signal not great but Wi-Fi coped well with us all. TV service really good with all streaming options available to keep the kids entertained for a bit of time out! Local amenities are good with an Intermarche 10 mins up the road. Monpazier is beautiful. buzzing on Market day. Locals were happy and friendly. Frances was there to greet us and wave us off. Great communication before and during our stay.
