Everything about the hotel was superb but if we have to single out anything, it would be the staff. Friendly, helpful and delightful sense of humour.

Great location just outside Cognac. Quirky hotel with interesting colour eclectic colour palate
. Great breakfast and excellent evening dinner.

The new decor on the 2nd floor was ridiculous and the vast eagle over our bed in room 19 was the stuff of nightmares. So silly and we have stayed many times over the past twenty years. Room service was incredibly slow and one of the restaurant staff at dinner soooo miserable.
