Coppergate Mews Grimsby No.1 - 2 bed, 2 bath, ground floor apartment

Had a short stay over Christmas visiting family, This place was way beyond what we expected, it was centrally located, on a very quiet street. The place itself was a large property converted into apartments. Our apartment was on the ground floor with easy access (no steps).the apartment itself was very clean and spacious, open plan with 2 bedrooms, both with onsuit. It was fully equipped with everything that you needed, we really enjoyed our time here and wouldn't hesitate to book again next time we visit.

Bedside lamps were hard to turn on and off. Apart from that there wasn't anything not to like.

This apartment is in a seemingly Victorian mansion converted into seven flats. The conversion is to a very high standard indeed. Although a couple we picked the 2 bed etc option as it is in the ground floor. This gave plenty of room for walking about in as it is very spacious and beautiful. The bathrooms were excellent and easy. The larger bedroom, the one we used, had the most comfortable bed we have had and the pillows too and it had a good sized shower. We slept very well. It is situated less than ten minutes walk from the centre and there are plenty of buses both nearby and from the centre. We ate out. Not much in Grimsby, though Da Vinci good for Italian, but for fish and chips you need to go to Cleethorpes, Steels. Fishing Heritage Centre worth visiting, 15 min walk.

The second, smaller, bedroom has a short flight of stairs and also has a second level, seemingly to accommodate the pipework to that shower room so would not recommend that bedroom for the elderly. However the main bedroom and the living room are ideal for the elderly (like us!)
