Quite easy to reach but close to old town location. Nice decor, very specious, very clean, plenty of dishes, helpful staff and clear easy communications

Location was great! Within a 10-15 minute walk of the downtown area. Carrefour across the street. You do need to take a taxi/Uber to the bus station and the Alhambra because both would be a 40+ minute walk but they’re affordable if you’re with a group. I would say the location was the best you can get for a large group of people for an affordable price. There was plenty of space including two full bathrooms which was very surprising for a Spanish apartment. As a large party, it was a great fit for us. The owner was also readily available through WhatsApp as we did encounter a few issues (I will discuss those below) which was appreciated and the reason I am still rating this property highly despite those issues.

We were a party of 6 and when we arrived at the property there were only 5 towels. However, the owner had another one dropped off by the time we came back from our day out. I’m sure it was just an oversight but I wanted to mention it. The floors were a bit dusty. Especially in parts of the bathrooms. The biggest downfall about the property was issues we had with electricity and WiFi. For such a modern apartment and considering it’s 2023 it was extremely frustrating that for the entirety of our stay we never had WiFi. There were people in our party that did not have an international SIM card, or even if they did their provider had bad service in the apartment. This made something as simple as checking in with family members when we arrived a challenge. The owner told us that it was an issue with their WiFi company but on our WiFi menus we could see other apartments’ WiFi with the same company. I only hope this problem can be rectified for future guests. Our final issue during our stay was with electricity of all things. Definitely gave us a taste of what it was like to live two and a half centuries ago. On our first night at some point during the night, the electricity went out. We woke up with our phones uncharged, unable to turn on the lights, or use anything that required being plugged in (obviously). This made for a stressful day because at one point our party separated and people’s phones had died so we were unable to contact each other. The owner took a while to reply so we had already left the apartment for our day when we were finally informed that someone would come to fix it. We returned in the late afternoon and everything was working but then it went out again. Very frustrating! Luckily it came on again within 20 minutes or so. Anyway, these were the issues we encountered. As the last two were beyond the control of the owner I did not let them affect my rating of the apartment.
