Maridea - Vairone

The location was great, with a sea view from the terrace, and we could walk to the sea in no more than five minutes. The property and terrace were big, which was lovely! It was easy to take a bus from the property to the city/port, and they come approximately every 20 minutes, although the buses are not the most comfortable ones.

We did not have Wi-Fi for the entire stay, which was a pity since we also booked it based on this criterion. We did talk with the hosts, who said they would call a technician, but I do not think they did it, since nothing happened, and they seemed to be well aware of the problem. Other than that, it was a bit difficult to find the reception (close to the port) to get the keys to the apartment. They did not write the specific address, which I did not understand why they would not. We spent too much time looking when we arrived on the island. Besides that, the check-out is at 9:30, which I find a bit too early, and there were a lot of things we had to do in the apartment before checking out, so the morning became a bit stressful, and it did not feel like a hotel stay that morning. We also had to either pay € 15 (per person) for bed sheets and towels or bring them ourselves – it would have been easier and better service if it had been included!
