Exceptional
The location of the cottage is perfect in the middle of the picturesque village. We had in 5min. walking distance choice of three, wonderful pubs/ restaurants with a great selection of quality dishes plus tea rooms and a small local shop. The village is a hub for many, great hill walks. We literally did not have to move a car for a whole week as trials started from the door step. The views from the windows are just marvellous. Being slightly off the season gave us a chance to relax away from the crowds. The cottage itself was very clean, cosy with all modern facilities. Huge bed was on the soft side. As we stayed just one week and came by car the lack of washing machine was not an issue for us. The car park was a bit tights, but directly in the front of the property. There is an option to park in the village car park for the small fee. Overall we loved the stay and will be coming back some time in the future.
