This was a beautiful house and a quaint neighborhood, and a very local, Hawaiian feel. The interior of the home as well appointed and comfortable. Great indoor and outdoor lounging furniture. Even a small view of the water from the living room. Also, we managed to stay cool with all of the fans on and the windows open. Accessing the apartment was really easy and instructions and correspondence were great! We loved Makaha beach and all of the delicious local food - Aloha Poke is awesome!
The coffee machine is suitable for a party of one, so we had to make 4 to 5 pots a day. We were cooking most of the time as this is not a touristy area, so it would’ve been great to have some basics - ie. Salt / pepper. The bedding felt very basic and the pillows were hard to sleep on. When we arrived, the recycle bin was completely full, and for some reason they didn’t pick up the bin when we put it out on the right day. So, we had to find alternatives. No floor mats for the shower - Wei we used a small towel - but generally we had a shortage of towels as some of us like to use one for our body and one for our hair and we had to have one on the floor.

Open, spacious, and clean. Close to Makaha Beach Park and swimming. Nice yard and neighborhood.
Lack of AC. Lack of window coverings for privacy. Kitchen sparsely stocked with utensils. Minimal towels for 5 of us.

Comfortable, clean, accessible location, parking, safe neighbourhood, laundry, kitchen, secure, large fenced yard, great pig, lanai is wonderful, friendly neighbours, owners are attentive, left clear instructions, were quick to respond and non intrusive.
