Château de Montautre

We've had an incredible stay at the château. It was meant to be just a stopover on our way to the south of France, but we easily could have stayed for several more nights. As a family of four, we were given two spacious adjoining rooms, which was extremely convenient. The château offers beautiful views and a lovely swimming pool. We weren't familiar with this part of France before, but it is absolutely worth exploring. We also had dinner at a small local restaurant with excellent food, exactly what we were looking for after a day on the road. Last but certainly not least, we realy enjoyed listening to Serges stories about the château and how they approach the renovation of it. Now we also want to buy a castle :)

Nous avons apprécié le calme, la beauté du lieu, l’accueil amical du propriétaire, lui-même enthousiaste à partager l’histoire du château. Les chambres très confortables et décorées avec goût. La jolie piscine très rafraîchissante. Le repas transitionnel aux chandelles et la visite guidée passionnante.

Rien, tout était parfait.
