I loved everything !

We have just had a lovely week staying at the Hideaway. It’s a lovely cottage maintained to a very high standard, very comfortable with every detail considered. It is probably one of the most pleasant and best kept cottages we’ve stayed in. Katie and Robin are very friendly, generous and attentive hosts. We wanted to combine attending the New Wine festival at the show ground with a luxury break for our 30th Wedding Anniversary and this proved to be perfect. There was everything we needed at the cottage, along with wifi, easy parking and a really comfy bed. There is great outdoor seating area and an upper level with a swing seat, BBQ and firepit that is delightfully lit. If you love horses you’ll be amazed at the extensive show jumping training centre they have at their farm.

What can I say!! We spent two days at the Hideaway and it was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived Katie was there to meet us. She gave us a brief rundown of the area, the best places to visit, best places to eat and told us all about the Hideaway. Katie then showed us to the absolutely amazing cottage and explained everything, told us about the BBQ and fire pit area (this was a hidden gem) she also informed us there was a breakfast hamper (the local fresh produce was amazing eggs, the best bacon I have tasted, granola, fresh milk, orange juice, butter, fudge, crisps, hot chocolate). After our first night and day Katie’s husband caught up with us to ask if we had a nice evening and spent time talking to us finding out what we had been up to and if we needed anything. On the day we were due to check out Katie came to see us off and again spoke to us about how we enjoyed our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for Katie such a lovely women with an absolutely beautiful property in such a lovely, quiet location. We will 1000% be back to visit again. Thank you Stuart & Amy

Fabulous, as always

Not applicable - mattress topper made a real difference to the quality of our sleep

Our host, Katie, and her family were very welcoming and helpful! The room was spacious and clean, perfect for 2 people. All the essentials were there, and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast items that were provided. I especially loved the location which was quiet with a lovely view yet still close enough to go into town and explore during the day. The outdoor view by the fire pit is absolutely stunning! We enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again in the future.

The space is cosy, clean and relaxing. The ability to enjoy the outdoors be it on the loungers, or up by the fire pit overlooking Somerset. Absolutely gorgeous.

Noticed a few spiders and cobwebs but only being in hyper aware of that. Otherwise it was absolutely perfect.
