Tree Farm Sanctuary

I liked the location of it being between Aspen/Snowmass and Glenwood Springs. Basalt itself is also pretty good, and Carbondale (which I did not visit) is also 15 minutes away. Property itself is secluded, but at the same time pretty easy to get to. I liked the modern look of the house and some nice amenities like wood fireplace. There were also things already available in the house like bear spray and fire starter, which was nice. Large grass area in front of the house to play with the dog or anything else. Pretty awesome place to stay.

Some small things. The comforter on the bed was slippery and slipped off at night all the time. There was no lotion in the bathroom (if that's important to you). At least on Google maps, the property address does not actually point to the property (but it was close). Might be a Google issue. The grass area felt like it was overwatered, because it was muddy when you walked on it. Bathroom had what I think was fan control, but then it did not turn anything on. So not sure what was the problem there.

The house is set on a beautiful location, has all the amenities you could ask for! Felt like you were in a secluded location, yet close to restaurants and stores. Wonderful. We will be back!

Only suggestion is to have some gravel on the driveway to help with wet/ muddy conditions. Otherwise just perfect.

The location of the house is very convenient. There are multiple services close by, while the house is quite private.

The counter tops are unusually high. If we were planning on doing any serious cooking, it would have been a little difficult for average height people to do. I wonder how tall the person who built the house is.
