'Casa Del Sol' - Cozy Oasis in Desert Hot Springs!

Our family (5 adults) was completely comfortable in this house in late February. We especially were impressed with the large kitchen, which had everything we needed to cook meals for 3 nights including all the little things like spices, cooking oil, bottle opener, etc.). These was even a good bottle of wine to open. All the beds (K, Q, Q) were comfortable, and both showers had strong and hot water flow. The outside area was great for relaxing in the shade or sun, and we used the full-sized table outside for eating our dinners. The location was at the edge of town in a nice (and quiet) neighborhood. We especially enjoyed an hour each night in the wonderful hot tub looking up at the stars. The host was attentive in answering any questions we had during our stay.

After reserving this house, the information we received from Evolve vacation rental management company via Booking.com "Send a Message" (to Contact Property) feature mentioned a confusing (nightly) upgrade payment option for something called "pool heating" which we read as pool (rather than hot tub). We did note that hot tub was not listed by Booking.com under the list of items included in the "Facilities" section, but we assumed (incorrectly) the hot tub shown in the pictures would be hot. We knew the pool would be cold in February. We also had sent a question in advance about the hot tub via Booking.com "Send a Message", but didn't get a response (from Evolve). The good news is this confusion was fully resolved by the generous and thoughtful owner and we enjoyed the hot tub during our stay. Net: suggest sorting out the hot tub in advance (for those interested in using it). In any case we loved this house.
