About this cottage rental

Eco dos Teixos is the dream we’ve been pursuing for several years, and it’s finally coming true. After restoring the village’s old school with a great deal of effort, today you can enjoy this space full of magic, tradition, and nature.

You’ll have access to a large living room with a kitchen and fireplace, as well as a spacious outdoor area with a garden and mountain views.

We also offer meals at our cave-like tavern! Please let us know in advance.

Both Elba (biologist and hiking guide) and Pedro (sociocultural facilitator and hiking guide) lead tours to explore spectacular sites around Trevinca (Galicia’s highest mountain): such as Teixadal de Casaio (the best-preserved yew forest on the Iberian Peninsula) or San Xil (forest, river, guerrilla huts, and cave paintings).
