Holiday home for 8 people with swimming pool, close to the ocean
Welcome to our comfortable home located in Saint Médard en Jalles, in a peaceful residential area, just a short walk from local shops and attractions. Nestled on a fenced plot of 1000m², our house offers a secure living environment ideal for holidays with family or friends.
About the accommodation:
This spacious 170m² house offers a modern and functional layout, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. As soon as you arrive, you will be charmed by the central patio, the real heart of the house, as well as by the heated swimming pool and the wooden terrace, surrounded by greenery, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the sun.
Inside, you will find a fully equipped kitchen to prepare delicious meals, while the outdoor summer kitchen, including a professional beer tap, plancha and barbecue, invites you to enjoy alfresco meals in the garden.
The four bedrooms, including a master suite with private bathroom, offer comfortable sleeping arrangements for up to 10 people (Fees for any additional guests may apply). The living areas, such as the living room equipped with a TV and PS5 console, guarantee moments of relaxation and entertainment for the whole family.
Facilities and activities:
In addition to the house's amenities such as washing machine, dryer and various appliances, you can enjoy the wooded garden with its swimming pool and covered outdoor summer kitchen. Sunbeds and parasols are also available for sunny days by the pool.
The house is ideally located for exploring the surrounding area, with attractions such as Pessac Zoo, Bouscat Golf and activities such as tree climbing in Mérignac nearby. In addition, Bordeaux and the Arcachon Bay are only a 25-minute drive away, offering a wide range of cultural and leisure activities.
For your comfort, household linen is provided, and a cleaning kit is available for basic necessities. We also invite you to consult the information booklet available on site, to discover all the riches of the region.
We thank you for respecting the peace and quiet of the neighborhood and for making sure not to disturb the neighborhood. Parties, group events, day and night noise are strictly prohibited.
We would like to emphasize that we are handing over a clean house and that we want to recover the house in the same condition. We therefore ask you to make sure that bed linen and bathroom rugs are put in the cellar when you leave.

The accommodation is impeccable. Great pool, really well finished with decking all round, and a bar with a couple of pumps: one with cold, filtered water and one serving fresh beer (optional).
Set in a quiet cul de sac, entry is through automatic security gates, with ample parking behind the property.
The villa has four bedrooms, all of which are in very good condition and perfectly comfortable for two people in each. The property was immaculately clean when we arrived, and everything has been well fitted and maintained.
The kitchen and adjoining utility room are incredibly well-stocked and have everything you need. All appliances, including the washing machine and drier are very good quality and simple to use.
Spoilt for choice when eating as there is a dining room with table, the courtyard table, and another dining table outside.
The lounge has a very comfortable sofa with a large TV for movie nights.
The closest convenience store is an eight-minute walk, or there is a Bakers, Butchers and convenience store around 15 mins away. The closest large supermarket is less than 2km.
Obviously, the location means this property is perfect for visiting vineyards with a couple of options just a 15-minute drive.
Bordeaux is approximately 30 mins by car, or the number 3 bus picks up a couple of minutes from the villa and takes you right into Bordeaux for less than €2.
Lastly, the hosts were wonderful. Very friendly and helpful when checking us in and made themselves available to us
