Cozy sleeping for 2 in the "Violet" room of this Historic Country Inn in the quaint village of Central Lake. This room is one of 7 private rooms with a private bath in each room. The pastel-hued rooms outfitted with delicate quilts have a vintage vibe. Includes kitchenette and lounge area shared with other inn guests. We are located about 20 min from Shanty Creek Resorts, and about 35 min from Boyne Mountain Resort.

Very charming hotel! Super clean and well-maintained. Halloween witches, monsters and ghouls were staged professionally, making the place (ironically) welcoming vs. scarey. I'll gladly stay here again when I am in the area.

Nothing fancy, but for the price, you really can't complain! Very clean, comfortable, and quiet room. My only suggestion would be to cover the small window above the door to the room with a curtain or panel. We went to bed pretty early, and as directed turned off o the hallway light so it wouldn't shine in our room. Later that evening someone came in and turned the hallway light on and left it on. A minor thing, I just got up again and turned it off. Overall a nice clean comfortable place to stay for a very reasonable price!

The room was clean and cute. Parking was an issue during check in, as The Blue Pelican shares a restaurant and bar. We had to park on the street, versus near the building to unload luggage.
