We stayed a weekend in July. Had an event at Owls nest. House was clean, well stocked, nice decor, view was amazing. Needed more AC perhaps, moist in basement, musty smell. Near the venue, but Road to get there was very steep and winding. Dark at night and treacherous in rain, or I can only imagine snow! Wish I knew this ahead of time, So we’d opt to stay on Owls property next time, was too inconvenient to go up and down this crazy hill to get to a store or anywhere. Clubhouse had lots of amenities, but tag only includes one guest and have to pay 20 per person and pay to rent equipment like paddles for pickleball, and more money to rent towels. Driveway hard to park in with multiple vehicles, and tough to get out of. Dark at night around property. Limited dining options nearby. Overall, ok stay. Probably would not stay again because of the hill.

The house itself was great and we had a really nice time staying there. It is worth noting - it’s on the top of a mountain that does give great views but really requires 4 wheel drive. If you’re going in the winter, know it’s pretty treacherous. Also - it was painful trying to get a hold of anyone that could help with internet that was not working. Had fine cell service in most of the house but the internet didn’t work the entire time we were there which isn’t great when you’re on the top of a mountain.
