Home details:
When you first arrive and put in your personal access code - you will enter the foyer, which has a fantastic view of Lake Tapps and opens to the wooden patio.

Next to the entry (on your right), you will see the half bathroom followed by the main bedroom (Cal King bed) with fireplace and attached bath complete with a walk-in shower, jetted bathtub, and his &her sinks.

Next to the entry (on your left), you have a hallway leading to the laundry room with a full washer and dryer unit. Continuing down the hallway, you will enter the tile-floored kitchen and dining room with unobstructed lake views.

Connected to the foyer and dining/kitchen is the living room (2 comfy pullout couches, coffee table, 75-inch TV, and fireplace) with beautiful views of Lake Tapps. The foyer, living room, dining space, and kitchen form a spacious, connected hall providing unobstructed views of Lake Tapps from every corner. The living space opens to a large wooden deck with a sun umbrella, BBQ, and patio furniture. The deck provides access to the lawn and beautiful Lake Tapps.

Past the left entry hallway is a set of stairs leading you downstairs to a second spacious living room with a 55-inch TV, board games, and two comfy couches. The bottom of the staircase (on your right) opens to a wood-floored foyer that connects to bedroom 2 (Queen bed + lake view), bedroom 3 (Queen bed), full bath, a kitchenette with refrigerator and sink, and sliding door giving access to the concrete patio, lawn and to the beautiful Lake Tapps. Each room is tastefully decorated for a warm and cozy ambiance.

The backyard has a large grass area divided into two halves by a concrete athletic court. You can play basketball, pickleball or volleyball.

Lake Tapps is a reservoir in Pierce County, Washington. Lake Tapps is about 4.5 square miles (12 km) in surface area and has about 45 miles (72 km) of shoreline. Please note that the reservoir water level is lowered from late October through late April each year (approximately 5-10 feet), and motorboat access is unavailable during these months.

The Sunset Lake Retreat backs to gorgeous Lake Tapps, and it is a great place to swim, float, and enjoy water activities. A short distance from the end of our dock, there are submerged stumps just below the surface. Diving and jumping into the lake should not be done to avoid injury. We discourage using motor boats/jet skis in this area if you are not familiar with this particular section of the lake. Small, non-motorized vessels are more suitable in this part of the lake. Liability Waiver: You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against the Host for accidents or claims arising from accessing the Lake (swimming or using any floating devices, e.g., kayaks, inflatables, OR motorable devices, e.g., boats, jet skies, etc.). All Guests in your party acknowledge and agree that they have seen this page and read and understand this waiver. They recognize that booking constitutes a binding and enforceable contract between the Guests and the Host.

• You are completely waiving any liability to the owner/host.
• All motorable boats/Jet skis must use a public boat ramp. DO NOT use the property's boat ramp.
