Our home offers 6 Bedrooms and 5 bathrooms with rec room and private pool. Wide beaches await you in just a five minute walk along a private Ocean Sands beach access!
Welcome to Sand Dollar Central! We are happy to welcome you and your family, including fur babies!
Sand Dollar Central is located in the northernmost section of Ocean Sands. This home has been recently renovated with plenty of space and comfort in mind for everyone!
Once you’ve entered our section of Ocean Sands, you’ll find Sand Dollar Central located in the middle of a quiet cul-de-sac, with the beach path directly to the right of the home. Just up the road, you can easily bike or walk to Timbuck II, a popular shopping and dining area. With ten beds in the home, 15 guests can be comfortably accommodated:
Bedroom 1: King Bed (Top Level) - Mounted Flat Screen TV*
Bedroom 2: Queen Bed (Mid-Level) - Mounted Flat Screen TV*
Bedroom 3: 2 Twin bunk beds (sleeps 4) (Mid-Level)
Bedroom 4: King Bed (Mid-Level)- Mounted Flat Screen TV*
Bedroom 5: Full-over-Queen Bunk Bed (Mid-Level)
Bedroom 6: King Bed (Ground Level) Mounted Flat Screen TV*
*All TV’s in the home have 129 Spectrum cable channels, Netflix, and ROKU.
*To best meet your vacation needs, we provide linens and towels for this home!
* Our home is fully equipped for little kiddos with a crib, high chair and baby gate.
This home received a refresh prior to the 2022 season to include new LVP floors, bedroom furniture, and outdoor furniture.
Top Level: The top level of this home is completely open concept. Family members can lounge on the couch, hang out in the kitchen or on the deck. The main living space features an oversized sectional and a 65” TV. The dining area includes a table that seats 8, as well as three bar stools at the large center island. Additionally, there is seating for 6 on the screened in porch, which is directly adjacent to the living room. The screened porch connects to a beautiful deck space and a 6-7 seat hot-tub. The top level also includes a king bedroom with a full bath and walk-in closet!
Mid Level: The 2nd floor features 4 of the 6 bedrooms. There is a King bedroom that has slider access to the deck with hammocks, outdoor seating, and overlooks the pool. This King shares a jack-and-jill bathroom with a Queen room. Both of these rooms include a mounted T.V.
On the other side of the hallway there is a full bath, and a double-over-queen bunk room with slider access to the deck as well! The last room on this floor is a 4 twin bunk room with an adorable book center for kids!
Ground Level: The Ground level is the perfect area to hang out when family is enjoying the pool, or to end an evening. The pool area also features a gas grill! We have a mini-fridge available for your use, as well as a comfortable leather couch within view of the TV and DVD library. Next to the tv area, there is a full size pool table with plenty of space to enjoy a game! If playing pool isn't up your alley, then we also have a small video game system and foosball.
The ground level features a full bath, in addition to a King Bedroom Suite with an en-suite bath and private exit to the pool! A full sized washer and dryer are also on this level.
Sand Dollar Central features plenty of “extras” to make your vacation wonderful:
- Parking is available for 4 cars.
-In-Ground Basketball Hoop located in the front driveway
- Our private solar heated pool is open from May to September and includes comfortable lounge chairs!
- The 6-7 person hot tub is available for use year round
- The screened in porch on the top level has seating for 6 to enjoy alfresco dining.
- The pool area offers an outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach.
- For a cozy evening in, you can enjoy the ambiance of an electric fireplace in the main living space.
- This home features top-of-the-line memory foam mattresses.
- Our home is equipped with wifi to keep everyone connected and entertained.
- The kitchen is fully equipped and has stainless steel appliances, microwave, coffee makers and toaster.
House Rules:
- Smoking is not permitted on the property.
- We are dog friendly for 2025! Up to two dogs per stay; owners are responsible for picking up after pets and any damage to the property.
- This is not an “event” home; parties or other gatherings are not allowed.
- The Ocean Sands Community does not permit trailers, jet-skis, or golf carts on site.
- Street parking is prohibited in Ocean Sands.
- There is a Ring video camera on site (at the front door) that faces outward towards the cul-de-sac for additional security!
- The minimum age to book is 25 years old; photo ID may be required for check in.
- Children under 14 should be supervised in the pool area.
- Guests are responsible for damage made to property; vacation rental insurance is available for this property.
- Trip Insurance is highly recommended; guests are not refunded if travel is affected by weather events such as hurricanes.
- Unauthorized early check-ins/late checkouts are subject to additional fees.

My sister and I stayed with our families and dogs. The home is spacious, well maintained and beautifully decorated. The pool area gives the opportunity to get a break from the beach if you choose. I am a clean freak so trust me when I say this home is immaculate. The only disappointment was how populated this area of Corolla is. The beach is a 5 minute walk from the house. No ocean or sound views in this area as well. Overall, the house is amazing.

Other than not having enough towels our stay was great, The house was clean, well maintained and comfortable. It is spacious and well designed. Communications with the owner/mgt was good.

The property is lovely, having been newly remodeled and very well equipped. I’ve stayed in many rentals and I’ve never seen a kitchen with so many sizes and types of pots, pans, dishes, and even plenty of baking pans, KitchenAid, blender, etc…. They even gave every person a bath towel, face towel, washcloth, and makeup washcloth. It was also very clean. The management was very responsive to all of our questions and concerns. We highly recommend!
Our only hesitation was that the beach seemed much farther than five minutes… especially when we were with little kids. It’s not a path the whole way but goes back-and-forth between grassy path and blacktop road. Even so, we had a wonderful time!
