About this house rental

Enjoy this fabulous family property (house and outbuilding) nestled between the sea (less than 800 m) and the countryside. L'Amirauté is a warm and elegant house with no overlooking neighbors, approximately 240m², featuring 5 bedrooms, a large 14-acre walled garden planted with fruit trees, and an open fire. The charming, vintage outbuilding offers an additional 90m² with 3 bedrooms and a delightful courtyard. BBQ, WIFI, and an electric car charging station are available 50m away.

Renters should know that the property is made up of two houses, both of which are a bit « funky » but enjoyable. The yard in the back is delightful, especially under the hazelnut trees. The furniture is dated but comfortable. The large dining room table in the big house was perfect for our party of 12. Being embedded in the village was priceless. The neighbors were welcoming and friendly. The proximity to the beaches, Bayeux, Sainte-Mère-Eglise, and Port-en-Bessin worked perfectly for us. Wonderful stay and experience overall!

Very nice property as described. Parking area was small & not easy to drive into. A bit disapointing that linen & towels were not provided in the rental & were only told a few days before traveling that this was the case. The wooden garden furniture needed renewing. But great location, big rooms & fully kitted out. Well worth a visit. Cheers Jules & friends.
