Blue Shutters Inn

It is clean and cozy. I wanted to add an extra day so we eill check out tomorrow. The home had a welcoming feeling and absolutely recommend for anyone traveling to the Austintown / Youngstown Area

House was clean and tidy. All rooms other than laundry are located on second and third floor. Main living area - kitchen, living room, bathroom, and main bedroom are on second floor. Second bedroom is on third floor and there is no door at bottom of steps up to third floor. It was fine for us as our kids stayed up there, but it would it would have been awkward had it been 2 couples, each expecting a private room. The house itself was nice and we felt safe. Based on what I saw I'm not sure I'd want to take a walk in the neighborhood around it at night. However, we felt safe and comfortable going from the driveway into the house at night.Host was communicative.Overall, good place and a good price.

Very clean, spacious and convenient

This property was a very spacious second floor apartment. It was well maintained and very clean. For us the location was great as we traveled to surrounding cities/towns to explore and access to the highway was very convenient. The check-in/check-out process was very easy. We would definitely consider booking this property again.

My two children and I stayed at the Blue Shutters Inn when we visited Ohio to bury my parent’s ashes at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. I have relatives in Austintown and this was the perfect location. The Inn was so very cozy and comfortable for us and gave us a great base of operations. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is convenient, it was great to have the W/D and ironing board, and the living room was perfect for gathering and conversation. I would highly recommend this for anyone going to the Youngstown area. Just be aware there are many steps involved.

The house was far superior to a hotel or motel stay. Had everything necessary for a commoner like me.

We really like staying at the Blue Shutters Inn. It's conveniently located and well appointed. The living room is friendly and comfortable, The kitchen is relatively small but has what you need, the downstairs bedroom is very nice, and the upstairs bedroom is roomy and also nice. If you have trouble with stairs, this is not your ideal location, but otherwise, it is an excellent property with great owners who take care of their guests. Highly recommend.

We had a nice experience with our stay. The place was clean and had the basics of what we needed. Keep in mind there are alot of stairs. So you have to have good knees to maneuver those, but to the most part we had a great time, we were a bit rowdy the first night and our host was gracious in the way he handled the complaint from those in the apartment below. 😉 We will definitely stay again. Worked great for us as we visited the area for family events. Comfortable 2nd floor accommodations with 2nd bedroom on 3rd floor (no door, but still reasonably private). Very clean with mostly newer fixtures, with exception of toilet, which was small and low. Coffee pot was nice to have. Didn’t use kitchen must but very functional. Cozy sitting room with DVD player. Lighting throughout better than most hotels (bad lighting is a pet peeve). Decor was quirky, made it seem that much more like staying over at someone's house. I feel like this property gets the most important stuff right, so I wouldn’t dream of quibbling about stuff that doesn’t matter. Owner was very responsive. Just very pleased with how it worked out.

This property was ideal for our weekend softball trip. It was clean, comfortable, and the location was perfect. Close to restaurants and a 10min drive to the fields. We had space to spread out, and access to a washer/dryer on site. The host was accommodating when we needed to check in a day early. We also arrived late in the evening and the property was well lit so we could easily check in. I would definitely recommend it and will stay again if I'm in the area. Thank you!

This was a charming home with super comfortable beds. We would stay there again,
