There is a ramp going to the main entrance ,that has a wide door leading to the heated floor mudroom.
From there you enter in the open concept space - dining living and kitchen , that has beautiful , tall cathedral celling , hardwood floors and a real fireplace.
Cozy sectional sofa and a power lift recliner chair to enjoy the quiet evenings at the fireplace or TV .
The dining table fits 8 , with space for a wheelchair - for the memorable family and friends gatherings .
The kitchen has granite countertop and is fully equipped with everything you might need (dishes ,silverware ,pots and pens ,glasses , and the most basics spices ) . The appliances and sink are installed with accessibility in mind for a person in a whealchair . There is as well a big kitchen island and bar stools.
The 2 French doors in the kitchen and living lead to a big deck ,half roofed , that has cozy outdoor furniture and a porch swing the size of a twin bed that you can take a nap during nice summer days. The grill is on the deck and the outdoor hot tub. There is a special ADA lift equipment for people in wheelchair to be able to use the hot tub as well.
The bigger bedroom has a wide door , split king size bed for each individual comfort ,with a remote adjustable bed base that features:

Super new and clean. Loved the open floor plan for visiting after our hikes in Acadia. Beds were very comfortable. House did not lack in any necessities. It was about a 35 minute drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Not exactly easy to run back to the house if you wanted a mid day break, but we knew the location when we booked and enjoyed the quietness of neighborhood. The host was extremely responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. The bedrooms and common area are spacious and clean. The kitchen is well-stocked with all the cooking equipment you'll need. The property manager responded to all questions in a timely manner. The best part of the stay is the beautiful deck with the swing bed and hot tub. The neighborhood is quiet and secluded so sitting out on the deck, whether on the swing or in the hot tub, was a perfect, quiet Maine escape.

This was a very lovely home and we enjoyed the comfortable beds, quiet location, hot hot tub, and loved the porch outside. We will be back the next time we visit Acadia. Thanks for a great experience! Also, the kitchen was well equipped to prep our meals!

Amazing week of making memories in and around Acadia and being nicely situated close to it all but in a quiet corner of the Mt Desert Island area made it a perfect match.
