About this chalet rental

Nestled in the heart of the Hautes-Alpes, at the foot of the mountains and on the shores of Lake Serre-Ponçon, the Gîte des Séyères welcomes you for a nature-filled stay.

You’re just a 30-minute drive from the Les Orres ski resort and 40 minutes from Risoul, where you can enjoy a wide range of activities: snowshoeing, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, dog sledding, mechanical sledding, biathlon…
You can also experience the magical Christmas festivities in the medieval town of Embrun and explore the surrounding area.

The terrace and balcony, overlooking a 2,000 m² plot, offer a breathtaking view of the mountains.

The gîte is spread across three levels:

Ground Floor
• A living room with fully equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, 5-burner stove, dishwasher, fridge, baking essentials, citrus juicer…)
• A spacious lounge with dining area and rustic fireplace
• One bedroom with a double bed
• One dormitory with five beds (including four bunk beds)

First Floor
• A second large and cozy lounge, perfect for spending time with family or friends
• A play and relaxation area with table football, cricket game, children’s games for all ages, a reading corner with a selection of books, and board games for adults
• A third bedroom with two single beds
• A fourth bedroom with a double bed – both rooms recently renovated and opening onto a south-east facing balcony with a stunning view

Garden Level
• A 100 m² T3 apartment, fully renovated in a Provençal style, with garden-level access
• Two bedrooms (one with a double bed, the other with twin beds), both facing east
• One shower room
• A large open-plan living space with kitchen and central island, dining area, and lounge with convertible sofa
• The apartment can be accessed independently from the outside or connected internally to the upper duplex

There are 3 bathrooms, 3 toilets, and a cloakroom available. All living areas are south-east facing, filled with natural light and surrounded by panoramic mountain views.

Outdoor Spaces
• An 80 m² furnished terrace with summer kitchen and barbecue
• A large outdoor dining area with family-style tables
• A 20-meter pétanque court
• A children’s play area
• A dedicated firepit corner, perfect for enjoying the view and relaxing during cool summer evenings in a warm and friendly atmosphere

We provide: a baby bed, travel cot, changing table, two high chairs, a rocking chair, and various other accessories.

Snow & Hiking Equipment
Two pairs of snowshoes, sleds, snow shovels, and hiking backpacks are available.

Linen Included
Per person:
• Fitted sheet + flat sheet + blanket + pillowcase (3 SUISSES and BECQUET brands)
• Towel set: one bath towel (70 x 140 cm), one hand towel (50 x 100 cm), and one washcloth (100% cotton – 650 g/m², LA COMPAGNIE DU BLANC)
