Your convenient location gives you access to the vast Rio Grande National Forest, which boasts 1.8 million acres and includes hundreds of trails. Great to explore no matter the time of year, take a trek via ATVs, snowmobiles, horseback, or even strolls. Head out directly from the house and have the adventure of a lifetime. Summitville Ghost Town and nearby mines also present possible fun endeavors.
Sports enthusiasts should bring their clubs, as the Rio Grande Club & Resort features a championship 18-hole course. Try pickleball at the local community center or river rafting with an outfitter for other active options. If you're looking for something more mellow, the Rio Grande river is begging you to cast a line there, and you may walk away with a trophy trout. Take in the stunning views of the Rockies from the Beaver Mountain Trailhead. If that's not enough, head to Revolution Rail for a unique and thrilling mountain biking experience, or explore Million Reservoir for a day of boating and swimming. For the colder months, the Wolf Creek Ski Area, about 22 miles away, offers premium skiing, or you could go to Rickels Arena for free ice skating.

Smoking and vaping are not allowed on the property.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Awesome place to stay! Spacious, king sized bed AND window AC units in each bedroom!! House has everything you need! The only improvement needed is the deck is a bit sketchy and our dog stepped on a rotting out slat and cut his leg. We would go back though!!

Dated but adequate house close to South Fork, Del Norte and Creede. The listing specified A/C but there was none. Pretty warm the first night but by the time we woke up the next morning it was quite chilly outside. The front deck needs replacing- very uneven boards with nails popping up, etc. the email instructions for unlocking the door were incorrect. The 10-digit door code was frustrating; I personally prefer the ones that are the last 4 digits of my cell phone. But it was very quiet and had all the kitchen supplies and coffee necessary.
