The property is nice size for a family; kitchen is well equipped; and the view is awesome. Restaurants, cafes, outdoor shops and grocery stores are all close by. In summer the ski lift goes to a beautiful location. Chamonix, Monte Blanc and much more is a short train ride away. I highly recommend this location.

The listing states that the apartment has three bedrooms, but this is misleading: the third “bedroom” is actually a bunk bed on an open landing, offering no real privacy for the person sleeping there. Of the two real bedrooms upstairs, one has a built-in shower/toilet. The second bathroom is downstairs.The apartment also has several maintenance issues: loose door and window handles, light switches that don’t work, a fridge that freezes rather than cools and can only be opened with a piece of string instead of a handle, and an outdated kitchen without an extractor hood, meaning you have to open a window or door while cooking. Some doors don’t close or scrape along the floor. The upstairs en-suite bathroom occasionally emits a sewage smell. Parking is limited to a few spots in front of the building, and guests are often asked to park at the Grands Montets lot instead.On the positive side, the interior is charming, the view is beautiful, and the location is ideal for exploring Argentière and the surrounding area. The owner is friendly and responds quickly to messages.
