Welcome to the “Minze” vacation rental—your cozy retreat in the heart of our historic farmhouse. When you come home after a long day at the beach, this apartment shows its best side: Thanks to its west-facing orientation, the afternoon sun bathes the living room in warm light. Here you can wind down at the end of the day while preparing dinner or playing games together at the dining table.

Right in the middle of it all
What makes “Minze” special is its view: From the living area on the first floor, you have a perfect view of the central courtyard and our barns. For parents, this is worth its weight in gold—you can relax with a cup of coffee and enjoy your own private “courtyard movie theater.” You can see what’s going on in the courtyard, whether the kids are zooming around on their pedal cars or disappearing into the Wichtelwald.

Plenty of space for family time (and privacy)
With over 60 m², you’ll find everything you need for a relaxing vacation for four. It was important to us that the sleeping arrangements were also comfortable:

For parents: A cozy, separate bedroom to recharge.

For the kids: Their own little kingdom with two full-size single beds. This is especially handy if the kids don’t like bunk beds or if you want to push the beds together to create more space.

Travel light
We know from our own experience how packed the car gets on a family vacation. That’s why we’ve already got all the baby gear ready for you: whether it’s a crib, high chair, safety rail, or stair gate—just let us know, and we’ll take care of it.

A vacation at Wichtelweide means adventure
The apartment is just the starting point. As soon as you walk down the stairs, you’re right in the middle of the action. Our farm is a paradise for little explorers: feed the animals in the morning, take a pony ride, drive a tractor, build caves in the Wichtel Forest, or experience real farming up close. And since we’re a certified organic farm (Naturland), you can be sure: Here, you’ll experience nature and animals in an authentic and species-appropriate way.
