About this house rental
You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located home. We sit across the street from a park and are surrounded by two other parks, including a nine hole golf course, and Harvard Park Rec Center with Outdoor Pool. Wide open floor plan with 2 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, and a nice patio area for barbecues. This three-level home is updated w/ granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and hardwood floors. Superb walkable location to restaurants, bars, shopping, South Pearl St.& SOBO. EZ access to Light Rail,Downtown, DTC. House is an Open Floor Plan. There are Three Levels- Lower Level has larger bedroom and Ensuite Bathroom. Main Level Has Living Room with Fireplace, Dining Room, Fully Stocked Kitchen with all Utensils, Coffee Maker, Grinder, Expresso Maker, Laundry Room, and Back Yard Patio. Third Level is Loft Area w/ 2nd Bedroom with Shower

Nice spacious house, great living area and kitchen, the location has a beautiful view of a park and adjacent to many paths. It was a good location for all our adventures and the owner was prompt with communicating. Unfortunately this was overshadowed by a handful of things which are easily fixed. I rate this as 7/10.
Please talk to the cleaners… when we arrived the downstairs bathroom had hair in the shower, debris on the carpet and it smelled like maybe a pet accident. :( Upstairs a seal from a new bottle of something was on the shower shelf, the floor was discolored and had moldy corners.
Also the drawers, hamper and closets are full of personal items. My husband opened a drawer with a leopard print something, another drawer had CPAP equipment. I opened a drawer to nylons and more underthings. Awkward and very unusual. We kept our garments in our suitcases.
It would be nice to have another hairdryer upstairs, and as others mentioned a house manual. Again, all of these are easily fixed.

This house is located in such a lovely area. I was nervous about a city I didn’t know but was immediately at ease when we arrived. Everyone we encountered was so friendly, it’s right across from a park. We even got to see the local fire department do training at the park which was fun.
The house was one of the cleanest properties I have ever stayed in. The house was filled with personal items which was unexpected for me, dentures in the drawers, Owners food in the freezer, clothes in the hampers. But I was definitely willing to overlook that because on the plus side there was tons of toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher soap, etc.
My big complaint is that the house is heavy on candles and artificial fragrance, I ended up having some asthma issues. It also is very very heavy on the god decor, bibles in bathrooms, quotes everywhere, books everywhere, but something that made the trip memorable for us.
I would suggest the host add a little binder with house rules, we didn’t know what to do with trash and actually got concerned that we were in the wrong house with so many personal belongings haha. It was lovely though and while we can’t stay again due to the fragrance, I would still recommend the property.

Property was well maintained, in a good neighborhood, the neighbors were excellent and the backyard patio was the perfect little spot
