You'll have access to every part of the home except the garage. Half of each closet and storage area has been cleared for guest use.

Keep in mind this is Silicon Valley suburbia, designed in the 1950s for cars, not for pedestrians or public transit. If you don't have a rental car, you'll need to use Uber or Lyft. Caltrain is about a ten minute drive away, from which you can get to San Francisco in 30 minutes during rush hour, or up to 60 minutes at other times.
