Happy Marrakchy Hostel

The hosts were exceptionally friendly and proactive; they reached out to us prior to arrival and even escorted us back to the property late at night. Our room and the shared showers were spotless, and the air conditioning ensured a comfortable night's sleep. Overall, it was a solid stay that offered good value for money.

The location was intimidating and confusing, completely lacking any signage. We were harassed by local youths demanding money for directions, who cursed at us daily when we refused. Since there was only one access street, we couldn't avoid them, which made our stay quite uncomfortable. Additionally, the breakfast was unremarkable, and management was little difficult to reach on our departure day.

The place is very good and well maintained. Ibra was very courteous and nice. The location was a bit difficult to find in the beginning but Ibra guided us on the video call. The room was spacious and the beds were comfy and everything was clean. The terrace was great to hangout late night. Me and my friend enjoyed our stay very much.

Won't say I didn't like it but as a suggestion it would be great to have small wardrobe, if not normal size, to keep the clothes in the room.

They could do with a sign or anything at all on the door to let you know you're there. We ended up doing what you're not supposed to do and paying a kid to show us where it was as if you don't have internet there is no way of knowing what door to knock on

The property is completely open roof so if it rains which it did for four days absolutely everything gets soaked and there's no place to sit including in the breakfast area everything is completely wet and you are exposed to the elements. Therefore it's extremely cold and the winter and extremely hot in the summer. Also the staff lives in a small room inside the kitchen and frequently uses it. Therefore when you try to use the kitchen or have access to it you feel like you are bothering them because they are always in there. There is literally a gang of about nine boys from ages about 12 up into in their 20s that live in the alley in front of the property and constantly harass and are very aggressive with the guest. They've got so bad with them I literally checked out at the property. The staff does absolutely nothing to stop them. I was physically assaulted more than once by them
