284 - Nonna's Place, Centro Storico di Sanremo - 5 Minuti a piedi dal Teatro Ariston

The apartment itself was perfectly equipped, recently renovated, and had everything we needed for our stay. The most important air conditioner ! Shops and beaches were very close, while nightclubs, bars, and restaurants were basically right in the courtyard, so it’s a very convenient place to stay.

For Americans, this is probably very surprising. The taxi driver didn’t have an address for the apartment because cars can’t access the area. You have to walk all the way up the hill, climbing street stairs and then even more stairs inside the building. The apartment is technically on the third floor, but by North American standards, it feels more like the sixth floor. I guess this is the price I paid for the incredible view from the bathroom—which, by the way, also have to climb a very steep three staircase to reach! Basically, it was a very clean apartment, but it looked like the area under the bed had never been swept or cleaned. Also, it wasn’t easy to communicate with the property management.

It was just what my son and friend needed, so many thanks.
