Zostel Goa, Morjim

Really fun bar and night activities, as well as organised daytime activities so you can get to know others at the hostel. It’s located in a great spot in Morjim with lots around. Everyone was very friendly and we had a great stay.

The biggest highlight was the location — it’s easy to reach and conveniently situated. The café was good, and we really enjoyed the food. One thing I truly appreciated was that they served food to our room whenever we ordered, which was a nice touch. The room itself was spacious, which made our stay comfortable.

Our room was on the third floor with no elevator, and climbing up and down multiple times a day became very tiring. For a premium room, you expect better convenience, at least a room on a lower floor if there’s no lift. The bathroom setup was not ideal. The shower was placed right next to the commode, so every time we showered, water would spread all over the bathroom floor. On top of that, the shower water pressure was poor, and the shower head seemed very old and probably clogged. It definitely needs proper cleaning or replacement so guests can have a pleasant shower experience. We also had to ask for something to manage the water on the floor, which wasn’t great. Additionally, the door lock system is outdated. The key wasn’t opening the door properly when we arrived, and we had to call someone to explain how to use the old lock. For a premium room, this doesn’t feel like premium service.
