    Honestly this is my third time staying in Bayu 23 and it won’t be my last. If you are planning to catch a flight or taking a short break from a long journey- on a tight budget. this hotel is definitely for you. My first stay was when I just had descended from Kinabalu hike and experiencing some muscle pain so resting one night here helped a lot for my recovery journey. Location wise, very strategic and safe for solo travellers as it is literally located above convenience store, self laundry service, Korean restaurant and many more. Parking also easy to find. The only thing you need to worry is there is no elevator, only stairs. You might want to plan early on how you manage if your luggage if heavy. Also, the toilet is kind of dirty for a clean freak like me. If toilet brushes were provided I would definitely volunteer myself to do some quick cleaning upon checkin in. And not to forget as the location is near to the airport, expect some noises from the takeoff planes. It could be a nuisance for some people who value deep sleep.

    At first glance the hotel look good from the outside until we enter our room. We aknowledge the building is old but never thought the room is unmaintenance, dull, some of ceiling area and wall surface cover with moss, no housekeeping work done the floor is dusty and hair strain still on the floor, the light bulb is keep on & off like we in haunted room not to mentioned the service is poor we ask for towel but the staff said will be ready by 3pm & we wait until 6pm there no towel given to us when we went out for dinner the staff enter our room (without asking us first) to place the towel on the bed. The hotel owner should train your staff not to enter customer room without consent. Very unprofesional
