As usual, great location and good staff
I have travelled extensively and am a Booking.com Premium customer. Have stayed at Eldon several times over the past 3–4 years, but this last experience is very disappointing. My booked Penthouse was downgraded to a one-bedroom apartment at the same price because the Penthouses were under renovation—a reason I accepted in good faith.
Now, after rebooking and paying for a one-bedroom apartment through Booking.com, Eldon management is demanding that I accept a Studio at the price already paid. This feels like Eldon is changing the agreed room and pushing higher prices after payment. Very poor customer treatment and not what I expect from a hotel I have previously trusted.
