It's perfect for a large group, with plenty of bedrooms and space, inside and out, to come together to eat and mingle. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking and serving equipment, and there are two BBQ's. A short drive to Cessnock for essentials and the local wineries. The hosts responded promptly to queries and were very helpful.
There was no air conditioning, and some of the ceiling fans didn't work, and we were there on a 41-degree day. The triple brick saved us, as did the extra fans that the hosts provided. The pool is a bonus! The commercial oven advertised was very tricky to start, so we weren't able to use it. The shared bathrooms only have shower curtains, so privacy could be an issue.
