It had everything we needed for our opening stay. Was so clean and the scents were amazing, we definitely approved! The fresh loaf, eggs, butter and milk were especially kind ☺️

Nice touch with bread, butter and eggs. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Exceptional view. Cabin cozy with heating set at a good temperature. Hot tub size good, jets worked well but did not like the issues below. Simple access with keys left. Hosts were kind enough to put the hot tub on an hour before we arrived.
Hot tub area and along edge of decking not very clean. Dirt, algae and stones. Water looked clear on arrival but quite a strong whiffy smell which got much stronger the next day combined with deisel fuel smell as the hot tub flue was too short, simply extending the pipe would alleviate this.
Barbecue was wood fired with no wood supply or info to bring your own. Also it was not cleaned out from previous visitor.
Coffee machine worked but only 2 pods available, again no info given as to the type of pods required to bring but there was some instant available.
Inside the cabin, one wall had many sellotape marks and beverage splashes which hadn't been cleaned.
No storage space for clothes, could do with some shelving.
My parner is quite tall and bashed his head on the door frame into the bedroom. No warning sign and edge sharp.
Update. Hosts response to my honest, balanced review was taken with criticism then personal comments without taking responsibility for our actual observations and genuine suggestions to improve the property and guests experience there of. A review should depict honesty whether this be negative or positive, I included both. Rather than become defensive and make untrue comments about guests who have genuine observations, please take their suggestions and make the neccessary improvements rather than talking about painting ( which was not mentioned in my review) suggesting we didn't shower etc, the hot tub was smelly more likely due to biofilm in the jets which given the likelihood this property is busy most of the year, thorough cleaning and sterilising is unrealistic and unlikely between guests. The main issue of the diesel smell and short flue and the dirt and algae along the side of the deck are genuine issues that could easily be rectified regardless of the season. No excuses. I have updated my review to include evidence of our observations mainly to explain to the hosts that these are genuine and warranted.
