NEW Villa Indah Seminyak 3BR Private Pool

Great location, villa was a bit tired ,

Sadly the pool got no sun , would have loved to be able to sunbake , water was very cold

Layout was nice

Wasn’t very clean overall and the plumbing in the bathrooms was poor. Broken shower heads and no water pressure. Dirty shower floors and hand basins

Good sized bedrooms and beds were comfy as were the pillows. The lounge and pool area were nice but it would have been great to have had proper pool sun-loungers (the ones at the villa are a "s" type style so not very comfortable or practical if you want to stretch out and tan all over while reading a book etc). Easy walk to Bintang Supermarket and the villa arranged scooter hire which is a great way to zip around Seminyak, Kuta and Legian.

I was unaware that breakfast would not be cooked on site (which is what I have always had when booking a villa). Putra our host brought us breakfast every morning in brown boxes from a local cafe so breakfast was always cold which was extremely disappointing. There was a salt & pepper set in the kitchen but unfortunately these were empty! Breakfast was quite bland without this. The coffee sachets in the kitchen looked old and dirty (perhaps guests brought in from another villa?) but fresh sachets would have been appreciated as well as sugar! The villa was not clean overall - there was only 1 wine glass and 2 tall drinking glasses (not great if there are 6 guests). These were not clean at all. The kitchen sinks were filthy as was the teatowel. We did not use any of the cutlery or kitchen plates that were supplied. Unfortuntely we were unable to use the two safe deposit boxes upstairs as Putra our young host did not have any instructions on how to use them. Luckily in the downstairs bedroom the key safe is operational with a key. Two of the bathrooms had broken shower heads and water pressure very poor. When showering as there is no door I had to raise my shower head (which was held together with dental floss!) and the water went all over the floor flooding my bathroom and saturating the bath towel. The hand basins were not clean (I had a used toothbrush next to my basin). Towel hook missing in my bathroom (bedroom 3) so could only hang 1 towel up rather than 2. No clothes horses to hang wet bathroom towels or swimming towels on to dry in the sun. There was no hand wash or shower gel in the bathrooms. Just these simple touches would have made a huge difference. The 3 bedroom villa could definitely do with a fresh coat of paint in the living room, hallways and bedroom 3 as it is looking very tired. I have never written a poor review on Booking.Com but on this occasion I just want to pass on our experience staying at this villa.
