Very pleasant. Would definately stay there again.
The cottage was comfortable, warm and clean. The beds were comfy and the location was great too.
The shower might not suit a larger person as it's over the bath and the way the curtain hangs, makes the area very narrow and a little claustrophobic. That said, The water was hot and there was plenty of water pressure.

A rural idyll. We loved it.
Almost everything about our stay was perfect. Spotlessly clean, wonderful decor, great facilities, comfortable beds, ideal location to explore the Pembrokeshire coast. Then there’s the unexpected added extras: Basil the peacock; the lively chickens; fresh eggs for sale; Rob and Mel’s friendliness and willingness to share their local knowledge. We booked Peacock Cottage because we were attending a wedding at Slebech Park Estate, and honestly, when we spoke to other guests at the wedding and their experiences, we KNEW we had the best accommodation!
There’s truly nothing to dislike. But we feel the addition of some salt and pepper in the cupboard and perhaps an Ordnance Survey Map of the area might enhance the facilities. (Maybe that’s being a being a bit greedy when one takes the other lovely things provided, but our BBQ would have benefited from some salt!)

A tranquil oasis in a mad mad World..
From our first contact with Rob and Mel over the phone with a few questions about our arrival, till our goodbyes, there was nothing to fault at Peacock Cottage. The location was superb, about half an hour away from everything we wanted, from our Skomer Island trip to see the puffins, to our days on the beach at Tenby, Saundersfoot, Wisemans Bridge etc. The town of Haverfordwest was under 10 mins up the road with all amenities. Peacock Cottage is a lovely place to relax in away from our days in the coastal bustle, it really was a home from home. Rob and Mel were only a call away if needed and just let us enjoy our break as if it were our own home. Basil the Peacock kept us entertained with his vocals and beautiful displays, the chickens kept us supplied with beautiful fresh eggs, the cats amused us pretending to hunt the chickens, there were many different birds visiting the bird feeder, from woodpeckers to robins. Inside the cottage was clean and fresh, well equipped with comfy beds and some lovely touches. We did not turn the TV on once, why would you in such beautiful surroundings. We loved it so much and felt so relaxed there that we have booked again for September. Thankyou again Rob and Mel for a great place for our holiday.

Awesome place to stay
Everything. well equipped, spacious, comfortable, full of character and charm. Perfect location to explore the region. if we are ever back in that region, we'd stay there again.
A little bit of cooking oil, salt and pepper would be nice. And the step down into the kitchen, the floor is very smooth, so it can be slippery. Maybe a thinner set of pillows for those who prefer that.
