Gorgeous apartment in Carbis Bay

This was the most stunning apartment. One of my favourites for many years. I could live in this apartment permanently. Great space, light and great feel. We loved it was next to a restaurant and a walk to the beach and we walked to St Ives along the South West Coast Path from Carbis Bay. Stunning ….. we used it as a base to drive around Cornwall and that worked well. I could definitely stay longer. Our booking was last minute and that was no issue for the host.

Stunning flat in a stunning location. Easy check-in. So clean and comfortable. Just wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely book again.

Property is facing a road, rather than a sea view but the beach is only a 5 min walk away. Road small bit noisy at night but only with the windows opened. Be prepared to walk up a steep hill to get to the flat if you are arriving by train :) No complaints!

Wonderful apartment

Cannot fault it! Large apartment for two. Quality, would recommend. Position was good for us, walk to Carbis Bay train took about 10 mins, train to St Ives £1.10, cheaper than bus and views of coast. Definitely stay again in this apartment.

Apartment was very modern, clean and cheerful. We originally booked Apartment 2 but ended up with Apartment 4 which was still very lovely!

There wasn’t anything to dislike, the TV was quite small but we were busy outdoors most of the time. The value of money could be slightly cheaper but complementary refreshments and coffee pods were provided for our stay which was a nice touch.

Great location, lovely spacious apartment with some special final touches.

the property was clean, tidy, spacious and had all basic facilities you would need for a short stay. Some added extras were a nice touch, such as coffee machine, Netflix log ins, bottle of milk, and a welcome booklet which was very informative and helpful, including lots of restaurant and tourists recommendations! We in fact stayed at flat 4 instead of flat 2 due to a system booking error which meant flat 2 wasn’t available for us, but the owners were quick to communicate and offer us Flat 4 at no price increase. A fabulous property with everything you could need (big shower, spacious living/kitchen area, ample wardrobe space) in an even more fabulous location, being only 10 minutes walk from the MOST idyllic beach in the England! You are also 5 minutes walk from Carbis Bay station, next stop being St Ives where there is lots to see and do. It made getting around very easy if you don’t want to drive everywhere.

The bed was very comfy for myself (5 ft 10”) however my partner, who is quite tall (6 ft 3”), struggled with the bed being a little small. His feet kept hitting the foot board at the bottom of the bed, but that’s what you get for being overly tall haha! The property was a little hard to find initially, a note on the booking information to explain to keep going down the lane would be helpful for people coming not via the main road. But all in all a great stay, no other issues.
