Il Gallo

We had a lovely 4 nights at II Gallo. The views over Tropea from the apartment are amazing and it’s a beautiful short stroll into town from the apartment. Very spacious rooms, modern kitchen with all the appliances you need, great air con units in each room and smart TV’s with Netflix, Amazon prime etc built in. Not many properties in Tropea have a swimming pool so that was a nice bonus! Our host was extremely helpful and flexible with check in and check out times and provided great information and recommendations for food and drink during our stay. Private secure parking on site was ideal seeing as we are doing a road trip around Calabria & Puglia. Would highly recommend this accommodation to anybody staying in beautiful Tropea!

Sehr schöner Balkon mit Blick aufs Meer, modernes Bad und große Küche

Man muss eine Straße hochgehen, an der es keinen Gehweg gibt. Man sollte ganz gut zu Fuß sein, um die Unterkunft zu erreichen oder ein Auto mieten. Für uns ging es aber auch ohne Auto gut.

Other property was bright, very clean and had all the facilities you would need when traveling. Both bedrooms and living areas had air conditioning. There was a supply of coffee pods for the coffee machine and a washing machine. The property‘d pool was clean and there was off street secured parking, a rarity in these small towns. The location was perfect, with a short 5 minute walk to the main old town. There was nothing we could fault about our stay at il Gallo.

The noise was so loud from neighbours and scraping furniture and electric blinds raising up and down through the night, Sviatlana nice and professional, she gave us a later checkout at 10.30 am The checkout is normally 9am which is ridiculous so needs to be looked at
