Deluxe Apt - Beautiful River View, Balcony &Free Secure Parking

Kitchen was quite well equiped with good quality appliances. Conformatble bed, good quality bedding. Very clean and tidy. Decent internet speeds.

There is a requirement for a £100 damage deposit payable prior to arrival. This is not appear in the advert and is not communicated until the non-refundable payment for the stay has been taken. The deposit was taken as a pre-authorized payment on a credit card. It shows as a pending payment which will presumably expire at some point. Had I known about this requirement I would have booked elsewhere. The access instructions hadn't arrived at the time I was due to check in, but arrived promptly when chased. The fridge/freezer had been switched off, intructions on how to switch them on were provided when chased. (removing a kitchen drawer to locate the wall switch) It was advertised as having a 'desk' which it does not, unless the dining table is also counted as a workspace. It is also advertised and having 'satellite channels' which is does not. It has no cable or satellite TV channels but does have a range of apps on the smart TV for basic live channels and on demand streaming. Externally the property is undergoing significant repairs/replacement to the cladding, so much of the block is covered in scaffolding. The works aren't really dispruptive as works seem to be done during 'office hours' and isn't particulary noisy, but it does all detract from the 'beautiful river view' and renders using the balcony rather less appealing. Having said this, the apartment was priced slightly lower than comparable ones in the same area, so may have been priced to take this into account. Internally the appartment is a little tired and could do with a coat of paint to freshen it up and woud benefit from a couple of minor repairs, particularly in the kitchen area. The communal areas, hallways etc, are similarly a little tired. Overall the building and the apartment has the feel of somewhere that, when new, would have been 'deluxe' but is now showing the signs of wear and tear and in need of a little TLC.

After arriving stranded due to the host from another booking cancelling when we arrived booking.com found us this within half an hour. Lovely location and apartment thank you so much to the host for saving the birthday celebrations

There wasn’t any toilet roll but my main problem was the host, he was so unkind to me. At first the WiFi was not working so I messaged the host and he was just so unpleasant to talk to also I payed my £100 deposit fee and I still haven’t gotten it back and it has been more than 7 days when I asked the host about this he had a whole load of attitude.
