Perched on the second floor with its own private entrance and porch, this sunny, 900-square-foot apartment features windows on three sides overlooking our vibrant native pollinator gardens. Inside, you'll find a peaceful bedroom with a comfy queen bed and generous closet space, plus a light-filled living area with a full futon sofa—perfect for traveling with kids.
Designed for total independence, the apartment includes a fully equipped kitchen with appliances and tableware, a spacious bathroom with a tub-and-shower combination, and convenient on-site laundry. We gladly welcome your well-behaved pets for a small fee, and maximum occupancy is up to 4 adults.
Whether you’re planning a weekend getaway or an extended winter retreat, The Maid’s Quarters is ready to welcome you. Special weekly and monthly rates are available from January through March, as well as weekly rates throughout the year. This is a gorgeous victorian home, in a neighborhood full of gorgeous victorian homes. The maids quarters, with a separate entrance, are large enough to live in. Breakfast choices are amazing, and you have a full kitchen to work with for other meals. Bellefonte is a lovely town nestled in the PA hills, with several large creeks draining into a large stream that runs through the center of town. The town has done a great job creating parks and riverwalks by the stream, preserving the downtown, which is almost entirely intact with 19th century elegance, and the walks through the neighborhoods are a joy. Great breakfast too!
