About this campground/ rv resort rental
Step back in time and experience the posh life of the past in a vintage 80's high-end motorhome. It is almost completely original. It is centrally located in a large gated storage yard and is very close to the University, restaurants, shops, stores (including Walmart). It is about 3 mins. from NMSU, 5 mins. from Old Mesilla, the Billy the Kid court house, and the Farmers Market, 20 mins. from Dripping Springs Natural Area, 40 mins from El Paso, and 45 mins. from White Sands National Park.
There is plenty of parking space and lots of room to walk your dog in the yard area. It is peaceful most of the time there, but occasionally there are some activities and vehicles that come and go. Know that you may hear guests in the neighboring RV or home come and go. There is also a train that passes by on the old Santa Fe Railroad not far from the property. If you are lucky, you will get to hear its horns and rumble. If you are unlucky, you will hear it horns and rumble when you are trying to sleep. Be prepared for that and other sounds of the city. The classic RV was clean, smelled good, and functioned well. I picked the coldest time to be there - the heater provided worked mostly - but when it got really cold, it couldn’t keep up. Overall- and t was comfy, easy access to all the good places - and felt safe. I’d come back in better weather, for sure.

This was a great stay in a unique rv. The owners were awesome and friendly. We felt very safe in the lot and knew our vehicle wouldn't get broken into.
We would definitely return and stay in one of their rvs again

If you’re looking for a very affordable retreat for your trip to Las Cruces, look no further! So cozy yet comfy and efficient. Perfect for a single traveler or couple, secluded back from the road near the end of a quiet street. Beautiful views of the Organ Mountains surround you!

I was there for 5 night. Very chilly nights without a central heat source. One space heater in front of RV but did not reach the back where I slept. Refrigerator molding falling off repeatedly and had to be positioned every time I open or closed the door. Door under sink fell off and I could not get it put back on. Electricity went off in bath room for two days then came back on as I was leaving. Felt unsafe Like a fire might start.
