Beautiful renovated house in a peaceful pocket of France. Perfect place to break our journey on the way to Biarritz. Comfortable shady room, huge G&T’s and a fabulous 5 course meal with wine and company. Memorable.

Ilse and Dennis were extremely good hosts, providing great food and wine, and very entertaining conversation. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. We would certainly recommend this accommodation.

Heel goed bed, mooi appartement, prima diner, prima ontbijt, leuke eigenaars. Heerlijke chansonmuziek bij binnenkomst en ontbijt. Bijzonder!

Voor ons was het nogal duur, maar ik denk dat alles bij elkaar de prijs niet overdreven was. Je hebt een goede navigatie nodig om er te komen: heel veel kleine, stille, binnenweggetjes.

A Quirky Property with Serious Management Concerns The Property: A charming, historic house absolutely full of character. However, if you are a light sleeper, be aware that it sadly lacks adequate soundproofing. The Hospitality: The evening meal extravaganza was certainly memorable, but not entirely for the right reasons. Despite being a qualified chef, the high spirited inebriated hostess demonstrated a shocking disregard for basic health, safety, and food hygiene—culminating in her pouring wine directly from her own personal glass into a guest's glass. A Quick Tip: Make sure to double-check your bill before checking out, as mistakes do occur. Summary: While the house itself has a lot of character, the lack of sound proofing, the erratic hospitality, lack of hygiene standards, and billing errors mean we won't be returning.
