Lodge was spotless,beds good quality and comfortable.

No egg cups,no serving trays.

Loved the location. Beautifully kept grounds, great first impressions. Lovely and quiet. A very attractive area, although, being addressed as Narberth, that's where we thought we were going. However, that wasn't a problem as the location is so lovely. It might help if the website said Near Narberth and not just Narberth. The Lodge was very clean and well presented. Loved the terrace furniture.

The quality of the beds was poor. We didn't sleep very well at all. I had asked especially for mattress toppers. That gives an indication that softness is required. The mattress did have toppers, but the the hard springs were felt all over the bed and sides. The topper couldn't make up for that. The big leather sofas are great for tall or large people and no good for smaller ones.!! I understand them being a good choice as fairly indestructible, but again , no support, therefore uncomfortable . The Lodge is for self catering. We tried to cook a breakfast, but the frying pans were so worn out that the breakfast was ruined. The shower controls , for some reason, are designed so that the furthest button away from you , is the on/off. You therefore get wet setting up the flow, before getting in.
