Appartamento Mira Mare Capri

The property is a beautiful flat with a very lovely view over the port, it’s fairly central so you can reach the different towns within an hour or so, by car or also by train, it takes around 15 min walking from the apartment to the train station. The beds where very comfortable, the windows are isolated so it has a great noise calcelling effect when closed, they also have mosquito nets which I great if you want to just open them during the day. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable for 5 people. The host was very polite and explained all the house rules and also some advice on how to get around depending on the places we wanted to visit. There is air conditioning available but you have to pay £12 per day if you want to use it, which is not super convenient during summer time considering the areas is quite noisy as it is located near a disco bar and the beach, so at night you will definetly have to close all the windows to have a proper night rest.

The property was super, only there was a lack of basic elements for a short stay like ours; no handwash or a few courtesy pods to do a quick laundry wash, no salt or sugar for the kitchen, no hand towels. You can tell the kitchen is not meant to be equipped for guest, but keeps the host food in the fridge and some other cooking gear that is not of everyday use, like to bake stuff that you will never really use in a short trip to the south of Italy . We only had one toilet paper roll for 5 guests 4 nights. We pointed this out and the host explained this meant to work as a ‘casa vacanze’ where you are meant to being everything you will need. But I do feel a few simple items like the ones I just described could enhance the experience for people staying a few days, specially considering this is not highlighted on the property description . I will point out we did ask for these things and the host offered to provide them as a courtesy (the hand soap and hand towel), not before explaining why this was not how it is meant to work and that she was doing it as an exception.

Un micro onde dans la cuisine serait pratique, et augmenter un peu la température de l'eau dans la douche.

Very nice, large apartment. Cleanliness at the highest level. Immediate response to every question. They helped us with car rental.

Air conditioning at an additional cost. You can't use the dishwasher, it's empty without baskets for dishes.As five people we spent a lot of time washing dishes, the possibility of using a dishwasher would be a good option .Someone taped up the washing machine program selection, the shortest cycle is available
