    I have stayed in atour hotel in various cities, this hotel is the worst I have stayed compare to other atour hotel. I booked 2 rooms for a total 3 nights, one for my son, the other for my wife and me. below is the reason: 1. One elevator for a building with 10+floors, average wait time is 5 mins 2. Lack of trust of its customers, I borrowed a small screw driver to tighten a screw on my suitcase, the front desk receptionist insisted to follow me to my room and witness my fix. Other hotel never asked to follow me to my room. His explanation is for security. I do not understand why I with a small screw driver suddenly poses a threat to the hotel. Another trust issue is the room key, room key is required to take elevator, and it only allows you to goto the floor where your room is. I booked two rooms, and they are on different floors. I am not able to take elevator to my sons room on different floor. I had to use stairs. So i talked to receptionist, asking for an additional key to my son’s room, he told me if there is only one person living in that room, he can only give one key. This hotel manager’s logic about elevator security is so weird. my room key does not allow me to select my son’s floor, but why they allow me to take stairs to goto that floor? The other atours I have stayed have no such elevator rule. 3. Location is neither close to airport or close to subway station 4. My son’s room has a strong mildew smell, the room is facing the dark side of building, with no sunlight during daytime. And a very small window does not allow enough air flow to clean up the air. In fact, all rooms on that side have similar smell. Luckily, on the second day, the receptionist switched my son’s room to the side facing street. Overall, not worth the money.     For foreigners, this is one of the best value hotel chains. The rooms are well kept in great condition and staff are all very helpful and polite.
