    I stayed one night in the private double room with bathroom. I was pleasantly surprised, as the reviews had been mixed. The room is clean and basically furnished, just off the small reception area. It has aircon and a good sized shower in the bathroom. This was situated on the Mezzanine floor and there was no evidence of other guests. I'm unsure if the shared dorms are on this floor or elsewhere. Reception hours are limited, but I had a physical key to the building and a smart access key to the room, so not much need to interact with reception staff, who were polite and friendly at check-in. The location is great, plenty of bars/cafes/restaurants nearby and a 24 hour convenience shop on the corner. I found the building quiet and had a good nights sleep, although I appreciate the facility might be busier in peak season (my stay was 31/08/24). I would use this place again for a short stay, however if you plan to stay more that 2 nights, somewhere with more in-room comforts might be better suited.
