This spacious, light-filled vacation apartment is located on the first floor of the “Schöne Höhe 600” building and has been completely renovated with great attention to detail and furnished with high-quality amenities.
Special highlights include the new terrace and the 10-meter-long balcony, from which guests can enjoy a panoramic view of the Matthias-Schmidt-Berg and the bell tower of Sankt Andreasberg.

A new highlight of the “Schöne Höhe 600” accommodations are the terrace, which can be used by guests of both apartments.
Enjoy the fresh air and the breathtaking panoramic view from our newly designed terrace. It’s the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or wind down the day with a glass of wine.
The apartment has two large bedrooms with double beds (180 x 200 cm). These feature ample storage space for your clothes. There are blackout curtains on the windows if you prefer to sleep in a darkened room. One of the bedrooms also opens onto the spacious balcony.
In addition, the vacation rental features a large, modern bathroom with a toilet, sink, and walk-in shower. In addition, there is a separate guest restroom with a small sink and bidet. Both bathrooms have natural light.

The vacation rental is situated on a beautiful hillside not far from the Samson Mine. From the rooms, you can enjoy a wonderful view over the Sankt Andreasberg valley from sunrise to sunset. The nearby Harz National Park offers a little bit of everything: from active sports to rest and relaxation.
Sankt Andreasberg boasts many hiking trails around the Sonnenberg and Matthias-Schmidt-Berg. For little adventurers, there’s a summer toboggan run and a high ropes course just a short walk from the front door. For older adventurers, there’s a mountain bike park with trails of varying difficulty levels and bike rentals. The town is also known for its observatory—the highest observatory in northern Germany, offering an excellent view of the night sky thanks to the very low levels of air pollution in the Harz Mountains.
In winter, you’ll find several ski runs on the Matthias-Schmidt-Berg, which can be seen from the windows of the vacation apartments. The region also features the Wurmberg in Braunlage and the Bocksberg in Hahnenklee, both of which are ideal for alpine skiing down the snow-covered slopes. In Sankt Andreasberg and the surrounding area, there are also numerous cross-country trails of varying difficulty levels.
A trip to Bad Lauterberg, just a 15-minute drive away, is well worth it any time of year. Here, you can relax and stroll through the pedestrian zone while exploring numerous small shops and cafés. Many hiking and mountain biking trails also start from here. In addition, the town offers various wellness centers for relaxation.
A truly unforgettable experience in the Harz National Park is a ride on the narrow-gauge railway straight up to the Brocken, with its magnificent panoramic views, or a boat ride on the beautiful Okersee.
